This is where you go to download more Channels, such as the Internet Channel or the Mii Contest Channel. Each time you download something in the Wii Shop Channel, you'll add a new Channel to the Wii Menu. The Wii Shop Channel is also the place to purchase Virtual Console games originally played on the NES, SNES, N64, SEGA MEGA DRIVE, TurboGrafx (PC Engine) and NEOGEO platforms.
